I made these after my really cool piece blew up in the kiln.
I used three different methods to color each of them, but did them all in bright colors-the colors are what ties them together I think. Or the values. Probably the values because all of the pieces were the same shade of grey in b&w!
The pink blob I painted solid neon red on the outside and bright yellow inside. It would make a cool lamp, I think.
The noodle-y one I soaked multiple times in varying dilutions of watercolor ink, and finished it with diluted india ink sprayed on.
The cow I tried to do Ken Price- style and repeatedly painted/sanded layers of yellow/green to get a lumpy but smooth finish.
